Course Details

Day 01
Intro to paddling technique, correct form and posture. Learning the about the different types of materials involved & their use. Techniques to manoeuver your kayak on the water: turning around, forward & backward movement, maintaining a direction.

Day 02
Reprise of manoeuvring a kayak. Capsize practice: how to vacate the water from the boat, how to climb back & how to help your companion climb back into the kayak safely & securely by stabilising the boat.

Day 03
Longer paddling session to combine & refresh all that was previously practiced. Learn to read the sea and understand different wind & wave conditions. Get prepared for independent navigation.

What to bring?

• sportive, quick-dry clothes or lycra  
• set of dry clothes to change into after
• reef shoes, flip-flops or sandals
• sun protection: sunscreen, lycra, hat, etc.
• water bottle
• cord (holder strap) if you are wearing glasses
• towel & soap (optional, there is shower facility)
• an enthusiastic & adventurous spirit ;)

What is included?

• all technical material: boat, paddle, PFD (life vest), etc.
• licensed, experienced instructor
• quick intro to paddling technique
• instructor accompanying & guiding you all the way
• changing room, bathrooms with shower, lockers
• in winter: neoprene suit for an additional €5

Ability to swim is required!
